The "Minuet in G" (no. 57) is usually attributed now to Christian Petzold and not to Bach. moreover, it's name is "Minuet in G major". it's companion piece, "Minuet in G minor" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpDwAviv56g ) is also very familiar.

You'll notice we make a point of mentioning Christian Petzold's contribution here. Also keep in mind when a minor key is not noted, the piece is assumed to be in a major key.

The reason we didn't list Petzold as the composer of "Minuet In G" is the classical music publishing world hasn't caught up to this new information - probably to prevent confusion among consumers.

A recent search in iTunes found 118 results for "Bach Minuet In G," but 0 results for "Christian Petzold Minuet In G." And of course it's our goal to make classical music as accessible as possible for everyone.
