Ok, I don't know if this would make a good clip of the month or if the use of the song in this film technically qualifies as "transcending the genre," but I just love the way they used it, so I thought I'd bring it up. The song is Casta Diva by Vincenzo Bellini, from the opera Norma. The film is called Cashback. This is how the movie opens:
