So Antonin Dvorak isn't recognized as "cool." So what. I'll just have Rafael Kubelik and "Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks" play "Slavonic Dances Op. 46 and 72" on the iPod. If No. 1 in C major doesn't move you, play some Zydeco instead. (As in "Lisa Haley and the Zydekats.")

im not that big of a fan of classical but was in the mood while studying, i just want to thank the creators of this website and all that good shit for making it easy to find stuff. thanks a million coming from a person that is just beginning their classical route to whatever.

I came across your site researching classical music to find great songs to add to my growing collection. While it is simply impossible to come up with a list of 100 that everyone can agree on, any list is very helpful, and I must say that your site is the only one I have found so far that has helped me. While I am one who doesn't completely agree with your list, I have found songs on your site that I remember having heard, I don't know how long ago.

I do have a suggestion for you; that I don't think your site has to revolve around those 100 pieces you chose. On the Composers A-Z page, I'm sure you could throw in a few more compositions by certain composers. How you related over half of the pieces posted was even more helpful.

So, to the creator(s) of this page, great work done here! Thanks for the information!

This is by far one of the greatest sites I've happened to be lucky enough to find. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been searching for a long time a complilation of popular classical music songs that I love. Sadly I'm no dedicated Classical music fan but I love epic music and have been trying to find the names of these songs for so long. Thank you a tremdous amount for making my dreams come true

why dont you make a compilation ... full tracks.. sell this.. or put in rapidshare.. why do i have to buy from amazon..

New to how some things work on the Internet. How does Kickassclassical work? Are the downloads for sale? At what cost? I see there is a trial membership during which I could download 100 songs, but after that?

Any trial membership offers you see are from third party advertisements running on the site.

The links we provide are to the pieces on iTunes and Amazon - which are anywhere from 89 cents to $1.98 each. If you want a particular piece, click on the iTunes or Amazon link directly next to the title.

So far this sight has been very helpful in finding new/old music that i have never heard, I'm glad I came across it!

Thanks so much for the only list on the internet that was truly universal in it's approach to the TOP 100 Classic Songs/Melodies. I have been searching for weeks for such information.

After getting sick of the Hard Rock I usually listen to I looked for some childhood favorites to share with my children. I am 44, kids are 6 and 8. I want them to listen to stuff I enjoyed as a child beyond Elvis, Sesame Street, The Osmonds, Brady Bunch etc.

After an eclectic few I moved on to Classical (as defined as this site, mostly in past centuries but not limited to). After 1812 Overture, Blue Danube, William Tell Overture, and a few others I was stumped.

Onto Rhapsody.com with your list and my wife and enjoyed a great evening! Next making CD's for the van and loading up everyone's mp3 players with them. Thanks to such a brilliant list that obviously wasn't marked as the Best based on someone's favorite composer or era!
